- Completed his medical training in Berlin Germany at the Free University of Berlin in 1990.
- Completed his post graduate doctorate in 1992.
- Following his basic surgical training in Germany he moved to the UK for his higher surgical training in orthopaedic surgery.
- Undertook his basic surgical training at Imperial College London
- Clinical Research at St James’ Hospital in Leeds
- Returning to Imperial College in 1999 to complete his specialist training in orthopaedics.
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1997
- Completed Intercollegiate specialist training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2003.
- 2004 - 2005 completed a number of overseas fellowships at the North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine unit, The Calvary Hip and Knee Unit Canberra, and the First Orthopaedic Clinic at the University of Florence.

2006 appointed as consultant orthopaedic surgeon at St Bernard’s Hospital Gibraltar in 2006
- Currently runs a busy clinical cold orthopaedic and trauma service.
- Has an active medico-legal practice.
- Major interests are Knee ligament reconstruction, Knee and hip joint replacement, Trauma surgery
