Qualified as a Podiatrist with the Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists (Sheffield) in 2002. Working since then at the Well Foot Clinic Suite 43 Victoria House, 26 Main Street until December 2009. 

Training continued in January 2007, when I qualified in the use of local anaesthetics and Nail Surgery with the Glasgow Caledonian University (Glasgow).  Allows for the surgical treatment of ingrowing toenails and other nail conditions. Trained to deal with all aspects of foot health care which also include foot and heel pain.  As well as conditions affecting children. 

Undertook specialist training in Practical Biomechanics and Gait analysis in October 2007 (Dublin).  Orthotics can help with Foot & Heel Pain, knee pain, Hip pain and lower back pain. Orthotics are prescribed according to the results and measurements taken from a biomechanical assessment. 

I have a special interest in Diabetes and related conditions affecting the lower limbs.
