Karen qualified as a Registered General Nurse from The Huddersfield School of Nursing, West Yorkshire in 1989 following which she worked at The Huddersfield Royal Infirmary mainly in the area of general medicine. From 1996 to 2001 Karen was a Ward Sister (manager) specialising mainly in respiratory and neurological conditions.

She is responsible for the day to day running of the Specialist Medical Clinic and uses her extensive clinical nurse management experience and medical knowledge to assist our patients through her role as our practice manager.
