Jane Naughton has lived on the Costa del Sol since 2003 since emigrating from the UK with her family. After living in various places around the world as a child including the United States, South Africa, Cyprus and the UK, settling in Spain has provided all the ingredients for Jane to achieve a better lifestyle.
Jane gained a Higher National Diploma with Distinction and a City & Guilds Licentiateship in Hospitality Management at Bournemouth University. She was also one of only 10 students to work for the university in the role of Peer Assisted Learning, where she was trained by the university to help students with learning difficulties. Jane was also Chairman of the Student Representative Board for the School of Service Industries, representing over 1000 students at university board meetings. During and following this time, she went on to work in several management roles in the catering industry, finishing up with running a 250 seat gastro-pub before moving to Spain.
Since her move to Spain, Jane has concentrated on working in the finance industry, developing her skills in this area before accepting a challenging role in 2008 as Public Relations Manager of the High Care International Hospital in Marbella. In this role, she combined her knowledge and expertise from hospitality and finance to assist with not only the commercial development of the hospital but also the day to day hospital administration, along with dealing with enquiries and new patients into the hospital.
Jane joined the Specialist Medical Clinic in order to assist with the day to day organisation of Mr Deardon's surgical diary, ensuring that all patients recieve the most comfortable experience possible.
Alongside this role, Jane is also the Marketing Manager for the Specialist Medical Group and deals with all of the clinic's advertising prescence in magazines and on the web.
