Trained as a doctor in Timisoara (Romania), Hamburg and Berlin (Germany) completing his training in 1986.
Doctorate in Neurology at the University of Berlin - 1987.
Trained in clinical neurology at the Medical University of Lübeck and the Regional University Hospital, Erfurt, Germany.
1994 - Certificate in Neurophysiology of the German Society of Clinical Neurophysiology and the Certificate as Specialist in Clinical Neurology.
1994 to 2002 - Senior Consultant Neurologist of the Neurological Department, Regional University Hospital Erfurt (Klinikum Erfurt GmbH), Germany.
- Interest in acute stroke management and movement disorders including Parkinson’s disease
- Has a wide experience of the use of Botulinum toxin in the treatment of neurological disease.
During his career he has given over 110 presentations in regional, national and international conferences with special dedication to stroke, Parkinson disease and other movement disorders.
He moved to Marbella in 2004 and is now the Director of the Department of Clinical Neurophysiology, USP- Hospital, Marbella.
