- Qualified as a doctor at the University Heidelberg and Mainz, 1993.
- Completed Specialist Training in Internal Medicine at the Free University of Berlin in 1997
- Completed his MD dissertation in the Field of Immunology/Infectious Diseases in 199
- Moved to the United States in 1997 to continue his specialist training in Internal Medicine at the New York University, New York City and in Intensive Care Medicine at the New York Medical College / St. Vincents Medical Center (where he was the Assistant Teaching Professor at the New York Medical College).
- Obtained US US Board Certification in both Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine in 2002.
- 2002 – 2004. Chief of the Section of Intensive Care Medicine (and “Assistant Teaching Professor”) at the Brookdale University and Medical Center, Hospital of the State University of New York (SUNY Downstate).
- Returned to Germany in 2004 where he worked until 2007 as a conservative (non-invasive) and Interventional Cardiologist at the Unfallkrankenhaus in Berlin, (A Major Tertiary Trauma Center).
- 2007 - Awarded the German Specialist Titles for Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Intensive Care Medicine.
- 2007 - non-invasive and interventional Cardiologist at the Heart Center Wuppertal, German
- 2008 – moved to the Costa del Sol to set up his own specialist cardiology service. Dr Reisberg holds regular clinical sessions at the Specialist Medical Group where he offers the full range of cardiological investigation, management and treatment.
